Make a Scratch-account
Follow the steps below to create a Scratch account.
Step 1: go to the Scratch website
1. Open Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Usually these programs are on the desktop of your computer. Double-click on the logo to open the browser.
2. At the top of the search bar, type the URL of the scratch.mit.edu website and press ENTER.
3. Click on 'Join Scratch'.
1. Create username. Do not use your own name. Make sure you remember your username.
2. Then choose a password. Make sure someone else cannot guess your password. Note: you must be able to remember it yourself. Your password is personal. Do not share this with anyone.

Step 3: age, country and gender
1. Choose your country
2. Choose your month and year of birth.
3. Then indicate your gender.
Give your mailadres and confirm it in the mail they will send to this address.
Step 4: e-mail address
Step 5: Let's start!
You are almost done now.
Click on 'Create' at the top left. You will see the following screen:
Step 6: Start!
Important!
You see an orange bar when you log in? You have yet to confirm your account. The link to confirm is in the email You received.
Now that you have a Scratch account, you can get started. Click on the button below and start with the first exercise.
